A Grommet type sling is made out of 1 section of rope which diameter equals one third of the total diameter of the sling.

Sling sections painted red can not be directly loaded – they are so called “fasteners” – one of them (one which has a flattened cross section) is the place where the ropes ends are inserted, and the other is a spot where the ropes’ ends meet.

While placing an order please provide the desired length
L of a sling, or its circumference 2 x L

WLL values given in the chart apply to steel wire ropes class 6x36 and 6x19 with a steel core with 1700 N/mm2 nominal wire durability according to EN-PN 12385 standard. Changing the nominal durability to 1960 N/mm2 increases the WLL by approximately 11%.

Using choke decreases the WLL to 80% of its original
value

You can find out more about the slings here.
